In a career that has touched both public and private sectors, Bernadette Lonergan has led numerous consulting engagements to assist clients to operationalize key strategies and enhance organizational effectiveness. Using a collaborative and customized approach, Bernadette works in partnership with organizations as they approach the difficult task of managing and implementing change.

Building on many years as a senior internal consultant with the University of Toronto, she established her own consulting role specializing in organizational effectiveness, human resource development, learning solutions, process mapping, and facilitation.

A recent sample of her consulting projects includes:

	Business process development and strategic organization re-design for a rapidly expanding e-commerce firm;
	Process facilitation in both public and private sectors aimed at developing strategy, clarifying work flows, and aligning work to changing organizational objectives and Missions;
	Organizational assessment and review of administrative operations in strategic business units at a major public sector union, universities, and private sector operations;
	Mapping of complex new processes and developing associated training for a major pharmaceutical company;
	Conducting best practice research and key customer interviews for a biopharmaceutical firm leading to developing of a new customer service strategy; and
	Design and delivery of sales force and leadership development programs in the financial sector.

Biographical History

Bernadette holds a B.A. and M.A. in English, as well as a Master of Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto. After over 13 years in progressive positions at the University of Toronto, she established a successful consulting practice to help organizations implement strategic change and build their internal capabilities. She has worked "end-to-end" on many projects in her career, moving easily from strategic mapping to customized learning initiatives across all business and non-profit sectors. Her impressive client roster crosses the financial sector, the pharmaceutical/pharmacy industry, and Crown Corporations. In addition, she is a skilled facilitator and communicator, an established professional writer, and experienced Project Manager.
