Strategic
Excellence Assessment: NQI, OPS, EFQMA,
Healthy Workplace
"Knowledge is Power"
Based on our proprietary assessment and
planning process, we will facilitate your assessment team
in producing a 30+ page executive report on the current state
of your organization, as measured against international standards
of Excellence (NQI, OPS, Baldrige, EFQMA, Healthy Workplace).
Through a process involving documentation
review and both group and individual interviews, tailored
to your preferred choice of criteria for Excellence, the assessor
team gathers statistically sound data about the organization.
Data is then analyzed through a variety of methods including
software, group discussion, and progressive methods of data
sorting and voting.
The report will include the necessary information
that enables you to build both long-term and tactically focused
plans for the pursuit of Excellence:
 |
Where your organization
ranks in approach, deployment and results of Excellence,
based on the International 1000 point scale |
 |
What approaches are successfully
moving your organization towards Excellence |
 |
What
areas require improvement, change, or development to move
you to the desired state of world-class Excellence |
The process enables the senior management
team identification of the three most critical areas requiring
serious focus to leverage the organization's change efforts.
This strategically focused process culminates
in a senior management visioning session of the desired state
for the vital areas that will be managed over the ensuing
12-18 months. Vital few plans are developed and then hard
wired into the organization's operational planning system.

Tactical
Excellence Assessment: NQI, OPS, Baldrige, EFQMA, Healthy
Workplace
A two-day workshop for executive or management
teams who want to self-assess themselves using their preferred
choice of international criteria for Excellence: NQI, OPS,
Baldrige, EFQMA, Healthy Workplace.
This workshop is facilitated by a senior
consultant who has had practical experience implementing the
criteria. Through a series of mini-workshops, performance
gaps are identified by management in each of the key areas
of Excellence.
The outputs of this session are threefold:
a consensus score for each area of Excellence, identification
of strengths and opportunities for improvement in each area,
and a consensus on the key areas requiring near-term improvement.
This workshop is typically used as a proactive and constructive
input to the annual planning process.
| Organizations
committed to the attainment of a state of Excellence use
both strategic and tactical assessment approaches in tandem.
This enables an organization to acquire and use the right
information for the appropriate audience and establish
the right scope of improvement plan. |
Custom
Assessment
Your organization may want or need to focus
in great depth on one discreet part of the criteria. For example,
you may want a thorough review of your customer data systems,
your planning systems or your approaches to process management.
Or you may simply want to review the progress of your vital
few teams. Whatever your specific need, our consultants can
meet your needs.
