Today the Ontario
Public Service (OPS) announced that
Strus & Associates Inc. is a
successful proponent for the Vendor
of Record for Program Evaluation,
NO. SSB-025649.
A program evaluation
strategy has been established by
the government of Ontario. This
strategy is a phased-in approach
to meeting key April 19, 2001 Throne
Speech commitments. This strategy
will ensure that the government’s
priorities and commitments are met
and its core businesses are delivered
within a framework based on fiscal
responsibility, accountability and
value for money.
Program evaluation
is defined by the Government of
Ontario “as the systematic
collection and analysis of information
about program activities, characteristics
and outcomes in order to make conclusions
on program core business relevance,
program efficiency and effectiveness,
affordability/sustainability and
opportunities for Alternative Service
Delivery.” This Program Evaluation
strategy requires ministries to
evaluate all of their programs over
a four-year cycle from April 01,
2002 to March 31, 2006.
